Three New Hope basketball players set to play in college

I mentioned toward the end of the hoops season that at least one New Hope Academy boys' basketball player -- 6-foot-5 forward Anthony Morgan -- would be playing in college. Morgan has signed with McDaniel College.

In addition, two more Mighty Ants seniors have made commitments to play next season. Guard Jalin Williams will play at Albright College, while forward Rasaun Mosley will join the team at the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown. Mosley plans to study civil engineering according to an email from the school, while Morgan will study communications and Williams is undecided.

Mosley was named a Class A third-team all-state pick after the season.

It was a banner season for New Hope, which finished 18-9 and appeared in the District 3 Class A championship game. The Mighty Ants also made their first appearance in the state playoffs.
