First place on the line in trio of YAIAA girls' soccer matches Friday


They may be the three biggest games to date of the YAIAA girls' soccer season. And they're taking place on the same night.

First place in all three YAIAA divisions will be up for grabs Friday during a trio of marquee matchups, and the GameTimePA crew has you covered. Click the link to see a Twitter feed with live updates from the action.

Matt Goul will be at Eastern York at 7 p.m. for a matchup of Division III foes Eastern York (4-4, 3-0) and Fairfield (7-0, 3-0). Steve Navaroli will head to West York at 4 p.m. to see the Bulldogs (5-1-1, 3-0-1) host Division II rival York Suburban (5-2-1, 3-0-1). And yours truly will stop by Red Lion for a 4 p.m. Division I tilt featuring the first-place Lions (5-2, 4-1) and archrivals Dallastown (7-1-1, 3-0-1).

Update:

West York took the top spot in Division II courtesy of a 3-1 win against York Suburban. And Dallastown routed Red Lion, 4-0, to grab the lead in Division I. Fairfield clamped down on Division III with a 2-0 win against Eastern.
