Athlete spotlight: Northeastern's Becca Gross

Becca Gross is a junior diver from Northeastern.

It is noon on a typical Saturday. What are you doing?

I am usually just getting back from diving practice.

If you could have dinner with any three people dead or alive, who would they be?

Nastia Liukin- When I did gymnastics, she is who I looked up to.

Adam Sandler- He is the funniest man on earth.

My mom- We are really close.

If you could switch places with one person for a day, who would you pick?

Probably Selena Gomez.  I just think she is really pretty and I like how she stars in movies and TV shows.

What TV show needs to make a comeback?

"Make it or Break it."  New episodes do not start until the spring but they should have them on now.

If you could travel anywhere in the world for a month, where would you go?

I would go to England.

When did you become interested in diving?

The guy who is responsible for getting people involved in it approached me my freshman year and I thought it would be good to start getting more involved in things.

How high are you diving from?

I do 1-meter diving and 3-meter diving.

What dive are you going to pull out of your bag of tricks if you are in second place with one dive left?

Probably an inward 1 1/2 pike.
