Before South Western's emotional win in their first game following the untimely death of teammate Ben Bynaker, Central York made an incredible gesture of support.

The Central players left their sideline and walked across the muddy field at the Mustang Corral to shake hands and embrace the South Western players.

It was something you had to see to believe. There were few dry eyes anywhere, including in the press box (where I snapped this photo).

"Oh my goodness. I don't hesitate to say that it brought tears to my eyes," Mustangs coach Don Seidenstricker said. "That is what high school sports is all about. It was a great moment."

YAIAA teams placed the sticker (below) on all of their helmets to show support of South Western.

"Our (coaching) fraternity is the greatest, because it does not judge in money, name or popularity, but what you do on the field on Friday night," Seidenstricker said.

What Central did Friday night was downright amazing.
