Big Spring wins first round match at PIAA Class AAA Team Wrestling Championship

Big Spring defeated Spring-Ford 28-22 in the first round fo the PIAA Class AAA Team Wrestling Championship.  They now move on to face Easton in the second round.

'Just Schnell': Ridley legend in 51st season

Carl Schnellenbach is in his sixth decade of coaching wrestling at Ridley HS.   He is winding down his 51st season and holds the record for wrestling wins in Pennsylvania by a coach.

Kiski Area cruises into second round

Kiski Area earned a trip to the Giant Center by dismantling Brashear HS 78-3.  They now face District 1 champion Council Rock South.

Penn-Trafford boys excel at WCCA meet 

Penn-Trafford boys swim team won the WCCA meet for the third consecutive year.  They were led by Christian McCurdy who set meet records in two individual events and two relays.

Montour beats Elizabeth Forward 2-1

Montour improved to 9-6-1 after defeated Elizabeth Forward 2-1.  The loss dropped Elizabeth Forward from sixth place in PIHL Class AA, which would have granted them a bye.
