Littlestown cracks PFN's Class AA Top 10

You had to figure that if Littlestown kept winning -- and winning convincingly -- that sooner or later the Bolts would get some statewide love. That finally seems to be the case. Littlestown (6-0) grabbed the No. 10 spot in the Pennsylvania Football News' most recent Class AA state rankings. Littlestown had previously been included under the PFN's "Others to watch" section. RodFrisco.com also moved the Bolts up into its double-A Top Ten. Littlestown was not included in EasternPAFootball.com's latest state rankings, not even in the honorable mention list. An oversight, I'm sure. The Bolts also remain No. 1 in District 3's Class AA power rankings. The No. 2 team in those rankings, defending state champion Lancaster Catholic, is rated fifth in Class AA by the PFN. Littlestown crushed Eastern York, 65-3, last Friday, and hosts York County Tech this week. We'll be posting our weekly YAIAA power rankings sometime this evening. Stay tuned for those.
