Projected seedings for District 3 football

Well, it was a wild Football Friday in the YAIAA, as the regular season came to an end. Several teams came into the night with District 3 playoff spots on the line, while others were trying to lock up a solid seed.

It's still early in the number-crunching phase. Wins and bonus points need to be added up, and there are still games to be played. But as best as we can figure it, here's which YAIAA teams are in the District playoffs, along with a projection of what seed they will be.

Once again, these are NOT final numbers, so don't take them as Gospel. But they are very educated guesses (props to Steve Navaroli for much of the legwork here), and seeing as everybody wants to know where their team fits in the District picture, I figured we should get these up as fast as possible.

Class AAAA: South Western (3 or 4), Central York (6 or 7), Dallastown (9 or 10), Spring Grove (12 or 13) and William Penn (15 or 16).

Class AAA: West York (3 or 4), Northern York (6), Kennard-Dale (12 or 13) and New Oxford (15 or 16)

Class AA: Delone Catholic (2), Littlestown (3), York Suburban (6 or 7)

Class A: York Catholic (5)
