Lampeter-Strasburg's Shank hospitalized


It was reported earlier that Lampeter-Strasburg quarterback Collin “Bear” Shank was admitted to Penn State Children's Hospital in Hershey for assessment of a mass that has been discovered in his brain.

According to a website set up by Shank's parents, “A CAT scan revealed a mass in Bear's brain. We're now waiting for an MRI to be done sometime late tonight. - April 26”

Shank was a driving force in the Pioneers Section Two championship last season. The 6’1, 210-pound junior passed for over 2400 yards and tossed 28 touchdowns in 2014.
