Volcanic activity could affect Penn Manor trip to Ireland

A trip to Ireland may be put on hold for the Penn Manor and Cedar Cliff football teams next week.

Both teams were set to cross the pond next week to play a week one matchup in Dublin but according to this LancasterOnline article, the trip could be canceled due to a possible volcanic eruption in Iceland which could produce enough volcanic ash to affect flights.

Penn State University is also supposed to play in Ireland next weekend against Central Florida.

More details to come.
