L-L winter sports highlight compilation

Winter sports are finally over in the Lancaster-Lebanon League. With gloves, bat and nets getting pulled out of equipment sheds everywhere in southeast Pennsylvania, let’s give the 2013-14 winter sports season its final adieu.

Below is a compilation video of some of the most memorable L-L sports highlights from the regular season and playoffs.

Of course, two of the most memorable moments came in the boys District Three tournaments when two L-L teams eliminated two YAIAA teams. First, Manheim Central’s Tanner Brenize nailed a game-winning three-pointer against West York in the District Three Class AAA quarterfinals. Cedar Crest’s Andrew Eudy’s also etched his name in history with last-second floater against Central York in the District Three Class AAA semifinals.

These two highlights stand alone and deserve their own links.

As for the rest of the highlights, Manheim Central’s Matt Walsh and JP McCaskey’s Kobe Gantz tied for the most appearances with four apiece. Four-time state champion wrestler Thomas Haines makes two appearances.

So whether your preference is well-executed pins, crowd-erupting blocks or rim-rocking dunks, this video has something all types of winter sports fans will enjoy.
