You be the judge: Was Moyer safe?

Hempfield won the L-L softball title in very dramatic fashion Wednesday night when senior Kendall Beck hit a walk-off single to propel the Black Knights over Manheim Central, 3-2. However, there was a play in the top of the sixth inning that had quite the impact on the game. With two outs and the game still tied at 2-2, courtesy runner Maranda Moyer attempted to steal home on a wild pitch and was called out.

As you can see in the video, it was an extremely close call that could have gone either way. But it’s interesting to think about what would have happened if Moyer would have been called safe.
