Manheim Township coach reflects on special season

As the L-L softball finals commence tonight, I wanted to take a look back at Tuesday’s semifinals. I caught up with Manheim Township coach Kirk Luther after his team lost to Manheim Central, 6-0.

While it wasn’t the outcome he was looking for, Luther was proud that his girls were able to make the league playoffs for the first time in over a decade. The success of the Manheim Township squad this year could very well get the program to be a consistent contender; a place where Luther and his team desperately want to be.
