Former New Oxford baseball player earns conference honors

Former New Oxford pitcher Aaron Palmer, now a freshman at Penn College in Williamsport, was named second-team all-conference by the North Eastern Athletic Conference, the league announced earlier this month.

Palmer, a GameTimePA.com first-team all-Division II all-star last year, went 3-3 with a 1.87 ERA in 33 innings pitched in his first season with the Wildcats. His in-conference ERA of 1.37 rated third among all pitchers in the NEAC.

Penn College went 7-7 and finished in fourth place in the conference.
