Koller Classic boasts top boys' volleyball talent

At the beginning of the month Northeastern High School hosted some of the best boys’ volleyball teams in the state at its one-day varsity tournament.
Now it’s Central York’s turn.
The Panthers will host the 20-team Koller Classic beginning at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. The tournament, begun by former Central York coach Bruce Koller decades ago, boasts the No. 1-ranked Class 2A and 3A teams in Northeastern and North Allegheny, respectively.
Also on hand will be 2A ranked teams York Suburban (4) and Cambridge Springs (5); and Class 3A ranked teams Emmaus (2), Central Dauphin (3), Central York (4), defending PIAA champion Hempfield (5), Pennsbury (6) and Penn Manor (8).
Other participating Class 2A teams are: Ambridge, Derry, Maplewood and Montour. Class 3A teams are Chambersburg, Cumberland Valley, Dallastown, Exeter, Parkland and State College.
