It was a repeat season for Dover senior point guard Alayah Hall, with a YAIAA tournament title as a bonus.

Hall helped Dover to a 26-4 record. Along the way, she became the school's all-time leading scorer with 1,619 points, helped the program win its first league title and return to the state quarterfinals in Class AAAA.

Before last season, the Dover girls' team had never reached the PIAA tournament.

The performance netted Hall a second straight Player of the Year honor from YAIAA coaches in Divisions I and II.

Hall is joined by Susquehannock seniors Katie Wagner and Shannon Druck, West York junior point guard Kari Lankford and Red Lion senior Morgan Kuehne on the first team. Second-team players included Dallastown junior Amari Johnson, a consistent double-digit scorer and rebounder, and Spring Grove senior Morgan Arden. The YAIAA's scoring champion, Arden averaged 23.1 points per game and claimed the No. 2 spot on her program's all-time list.

New Oxford coach Mike Sanders was selected YAIAA Coach of the Year for Divisions I and II. The second-year Colonials coach had an experienced but young team, which wreaked havoc around the league and nearly qualified for the YAIAA tournament. Their 14-10 record was a seven-win improvement from Sanders' first season.
