The YAIAA boys' basketball championship between Central York and William Penn originally scheduled for Thursday, was postponed, according to an email received from Marty Trimmer, athletic director of the Central York School District.
The game is rescheduled for 5 p.m. Saturday at York College.
The girls' game between York Catholic and Dover, originally scheduled for Friday, will now be played at 8 p.m. Saturday.
Tickets will be available for purchase at the door, and separate tickets will be required for each game
To get to the championship, the Bearcats beat West York, 70-66, in the YAIAA boys' tournament semifinals on Tuesday at Red Lion High School. The Division I champion Panthers eliminated Red Lion, 51-42.
Central beat William Penn in their only meeting, 61-48, on Dec. 20, Their second regular-season game was postponed twice before ultimately being canceled.
On the girls' side, Dover soared past West York, 44-23, on Wednesday, and York Catholic avenged a recent loss to Susquehannock, 47-39.
