Host Spring Grove got off to a fast start Monday as it beat Red Land, 136-47, in girls' swimming.

The Rockets took first and second place in the first three events to open a big lead against Red Land.

Later in the meet, Spring Grove captured the top three places in the 100 backstroke and 100 breaststroke, erasing any hopes of a Patriots comeback.

Haley Staub (200 free, 500 free), Abby Kling (200 indivdual medley, 100 backstroke) and Katelyn Miller (50 free, 100 free) won two individual events for the Rockets.
