The York Catholic girls' basketball team handed coach Kevin Bankos his 200th career victory Wednesday night as the Fighting Irish routed Fairfield, 60-23.

Courtney DeMonda scored a game-high 15 points and Amelia York added 10 for the Irish, who got scoring from eight players.

York Catholic held Fairfield to single digits in scoring in three quarters, taking a 25-12 lead at halftime and a 42-19 lead after three quarters.

Kelly Quealy led the Green Knights with nine points.

Alayah Hall scored a game-high 15 points. Megan Lokhaiser contributed 13, and Maxine Herman added 12.

Red Lion 63, Central York 38: The Lions remained in the hunt for a postseason berth by scoring 37 points in the second half against Central York.

Four Lions reached double digits in points, led by Morgan Kuehne's 15. Red Lion shot 17-of-21 from the foul line (81 percent).

West York 57, South Western 47: Trailing by one at halftime, the Bulldogs outscored the Mustangs 33-22 in the second half to remain in first place in YAIAA Division I play.

Emily Wood, Kari Lankford and Heather Zinn scored 10 points apiece for the Bulldogs, who shot 17-of-26 from the foul line.

Amy Spiglemyer and Lauren Schmidt paced South Western with 13 points each.

Susquehannock 74, Bermudian Springs 31: The visiting Warriors scored 37 points in each half and took a 25-point halftime lead to cruise to a win Eagles.

Katie Wagner and Jeanette Wilson each scored 14 points, and Alexis Murphy added 11 for the Warriors, who posted 33 field goals.

Shannon Kuhn scored seven points to lead Bermudian Springs, which was held to 11 field goals. Karra Thomason added six points.
