Isaiah Logue of Fairfield and Dallastown's Brandon Greenplate qualified for the PIAA Golf Championships with their performances on Tuesday at Golden Oaks Golf Club in Fleetwood.

The state tournament will take place on Oct. 22 and 23 at Heritage Hills Golf Resort.

Logue, who won the District 3 Class AA title at Heritage Hills, shot an 8-over-par 80 to place 14th in the regional, claiming one of the 16 available spots in the 30-player field, five shots behind Noah Firestone of Mount Calvary Christian. The junior overcame a triple-bogey on the second hole and a double on the third to birdie the par-4 fourth and seventh holes and eagle the par-5 9th. A bogey on the par-4 18th was enough to allow him to avoid a playoff for the final two state berths by one shot.

Greenplate claimed one of the 24 available Class AAA boys' spots by tying for eighth place with a 3-over-par 75, six shots behind regional winner and District 3 champion Craig Hornberger of Manheim Township. The Wildcat junior played the front nine in 2-over-par 38 with the help of an eagle on the par-5 fourth and a birdie in the ninth. He erased a double-bogey on the par-3 11th with an eagle on the par-5 13th and a birdie on the par-4 15th.

YAIAA champion Josh Rinehart of West York and Red Lion's Brandon Stine each shot an 83 to tie for 39th in the 50-player field.

Lauren Parrini of York Catholic, the lone YAIAA girls' regional qualfier, shot 106 in the Class AA girls' tournament. Selena Cerra of Holy Cross won the tournament with an 82. Jamie Susanin of Radnor won the Class AAA girls' tournament by carding a 75.
