Central Dauphin scored five runs in the bottom of the second, and Spring Grove spent the rest of the game chipping away at the lead with the help of four Rams errors. Two runs in the fourth cut the deficit to 5-3, and a run in the sixth brought the 12th-seeded Rockets to within 6-4. However, the Rams plated four runs in the bottom of the sixth to clinch the victory.
Central Dauphin will face top seed Lower Dauphin, a 9-2 winner over Conestoga Valley on Thursday, in one of Tuesday's semifinals. Spring Grove, the YAIAA Division II champion, ends its season with a 14-8 record.
