Central York's Mason Boyer is the only YAIAA boys' volleyball player to be named first-team all-state, it was announced Monday.

The senior outside hitter was among the league leaders in kills and aces to lead the Panthers to the PIAA Class 3A semifinals. While he was the only player to make first team, he was far from the only all-state selection.

Four additional players were named to the Class 3A all-state team as honorable mention.

Central York senior Donovan Burris (opposite hitter) and junior Trevor Ketrick (middle hitter) and Northeastern seniors Gavin Meador (libero) and Ethan Schick (middle hitter) were named to the team.

York Suburban seniors Jackson Bryant and Luis Montalvo were named to the Class 2A second team at middle hitter and setter, respectively.

York Catholic seniors Brady Walker (opposite hitter), Luke Forjan (outside hitter) and John Forjan (setter) were honorable mention selections.
