Here are 37 boys' tennis players set to serve notice in 2024

Some of last year’s top boys’ tennis players have graduated, and that creates opportunities for a new crop of players. 

Dallastown, last year’s Division I champion, returns its top singles player, but Andrew Chronister and Bobby Nicholson have graduated. Back to defend his YAIAA Class 3A singles title is junior Hayden Koons. 

And with nearly 30 players on the roster, the Wildcats are reloading, not rebuilding. 

Division II will see a big shakeup at the top. Defending division champion Biglerville will have to find a new No. 1 singles player with the graduation of foreign exchange student Guillame Schmitz, who also won the league’s Class 2A singles title. 

The Canners can turn to Caleol Palmer McGraw, Sean Sneed and Troy Schneider to move up to the top spot. 

Hanover lost last year’s top singles player to graduation and this year’s projected top singles player, freshman Yahir Corona, to an ACL tear suffered during indoor soccer. 

That leaves senior Brian Corona and sophomore Cullen Nakielny to battle for the top two singles spots, but senior Nolan Chronister will also figure into the mix.
