Who's left after the first day of YAIAA boys' tennis tournament?

Nearly all of the seeded players advanced to the quarterfinals of the YAIAA boys' tennis tournament.

Two rounds were played Thursday at Red Lion (Class 2A) and South Western (Class 3A). The quarterfinals and semifinals will be played Friday and the finals are scheduled for Saturday.

Here's a look at who advanced to Friday's quarterfinals in each class with their seed.

Class 2A: Biglerville's Guillame Schmitz (1) vs. Bermudian Springs' Eli Snyder (8); Littlestown's Cyrus Marshall (4) vs. Delone Catholic's Collin Kuhn (5); West York's Ryan Steele (6) vs. Hanover's Charlie Zitto (3); Hanover's Nolan Chronister (unseeded) vs. Bermudian Springs' Parker Sanders (2).

Class 3A: Dallastown teammates Hayden Koons (1) vs. Bobby Nicholson (unseeded); Central York's Kai MacLennan (4) vs. Dallastown's Jacob Horn (5); South Western's Chase Anderson (6) vs. Dallastown's Andrew Chronister (3); Susquehannock's Derek Baughman (7) vs. Red Lion's Cooper Wheeler (2).
