Elco, Lebanon, NL land L-L baseball all-stars

Elco junior Cole Miller, Lebanon's Michael Deleon and Northern Lebanon sophomore Michigan Daub were named to the Lancaster-Lebanon "Sweet Sixteen" All-League baseball team Monday.

First-year starters Miller and Daub both hit over .400 this spring, helping their respective teams to 12-8 regular seasons. Miller, who caught and pitched for the Raiders, also led Elco to its first league tournament berth in nine years. He allowed only one base runner to steal against him during L-L play and finished with a 0.00 ERA.

When Daub wasn't patrolling center field, he played multiple defensive positions for the Vikings and crushed the ball for an OPS greater than 1.300. His .479 batting average registered as the best in the county.

Working as the Cedars' ace, Deleon compiled a 4-0 record over 34 innings of league play, during which he earned a 0.618 ERA. The senior right-hander recorded 47 strikeouts, fired a no-hitter against Cocalico and shut out Lancaster Catholic.
