Former Central York baseball player recognized with All-Star selection

Former Central York baseball player Dan Sepic will continue his standout year on the field with an appearance in the 2017 Great Lakes Collegiate All-Star Game Prospect Showcase. 

The contest will be played Tuesday, July 18 at Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio.

After a strong junior season at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Sepic carried that over this summer with the Richmond Jazz. The third baseman leads the Great Lakes Collegiate Baseball League with 13 doubles, and is second on the Jazz with three home runs and 24 RBI. Richmond is currently in a first-place tie in the league standings.

This past season at IUP, Sepic batted .313 with a team-high eight home runs and 25 RBI. He also tied for the team lead with eight doubles.

Sepic was also recognized this year for his performance in the classroom, where he finished with a 4.0 GPA.
