In Class 3A, District 3 had 13 players earn all-state honors, the most of any district in the state. District 7 ranked second in the state in the number of players selected, with 10.

State champion Central York had five players make the squad: junior outside hitter Cole Johnson, senior libero Zak Kakos, senior setter Carter Luckenbaugh, sophomore outside hitter Braden Richard and senior middle hitter Ben Seebold. All five earned all-state honors for the first time.

In Class 2A, District 3 had eight players earn all-state recognition. It marked the most of any district in the state, with six players from District 7 earning all-state honors.

Three players from Northeastern's state volleyball team earned all-state honors, including seniors Dakoda Hoffman and James Toomey. The Bobcats' Cole Brillhart also picked up all-state honors. Just a junior, Brillhart is expected to return to Northeastern for his senior season in 2017-18.

York Suburban senior Jack Schultz also earned all-state honors.

Hoffman and Schultz are repeat selections, having earned all-state honors as juniors in 2015-16.
