Rutter's proposes sports complex in Manchester Twp.

A public hearing, focused on zoning changes, was held on Wednesday by Manchester Township supervisors.

A proposed sports complex sparked concerns from residents who attended the meeting, according to the Central Penn Business Journal. The complex, which was described as a "community commercial sports facility," has not been given a specific location yet, but developers gave an "example location" of the west side of Susquehanna Trail, south of the First Assembly of God Church.

The journal's report said that a decision is expected to be made by township supervisors when they meet again at 7 p.m. on Nov. 8 at 3200 Farmtrail Road, and that York attorney Gavin Markey, who represents the developers, informed residents that the developers are creating a plan that will take their concerns into account.
