The Spring Grove wrestling team clinched the outright YAIAA Division I title Thursday with a 45-29 victory at home against New Oxford. The win came in much the same fashion as when the Rockets clinched at least a share of the title Tuesday against Dallastown.

Leading 16-14 entering 132 pounds, freshman Brady Pitzer pinned Noah Richley with 13 seconds left in the second period to push the Rockets' lead to 22-14. Chance Jackson followed that fall up with a pin of his own to push the lead to 28-14 to essentially seal the win.

The match featured three consecutive technical falls prior the 132 pound bout with Spring Grove's Dalton Rohrbaugh getting the first with a 15-0 win in 4:30. New Oxford's Zurich Storm followed that up with a 20-3 tech fall in 1:59 before Clay Baker finished off the tech fall run with a 15-0 win in 5:20 at 126 pounds.

Nathan Young, Anthony Hinson, Trent Baker and Jared Barley were also victorious for the Rockets.

Dylan Smith, Timothy Uhler, Matthew Poust, Evan Brown and Derrick Rudisill also won matches for the Colonials.
