PIAA boys' tennis tournament roundup, May 17

Dallastown saw its season end with a 16-4 overall record following its 3-0 loss to Lower Merion in the first round of the PIAA Class AAA tournament at Legacy YTE Complex in Philadelphia.

Hunter Jones lost at No. 2 singles while doubles teams of Tyler Lilie-Nate Swartz and Sachin Venkatesh-Jonathan Burns lost in straight sets. No. 3 singles David Timmer was trailing 6-0, 4-1 when the match was decided.

No. 1 player and District 3 singles champ Holden Koons led Matthew Chen 6-4, 1-1 at No. 1 singles when the match was called.
