Dallastown among top seeds alive in district tennis


Second-seeded Dallastown advanced to the District 3 Class AAA team tennis semifinals with Tuesday's 4-1 win against Manheim Central.

Holden Koons again led the Wildcats to a win as he eliminated Galen Fitzkee in two sets without dropping a single game. His teammate Hunter Jones went to a first-set tiebreaker before handling Blake Martin, 7-6 (4), 6-2.

The Wildcats will face the No. 3 seed Hershey at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday at Hershey Racquet Club.

Meanwhile, South Western was eliminated by No. 4 seed Lower Dauphin, 4-0.
