Monday's girls' volleyball roundup: Eagles swoop in for sweep of Irish

Gabrielle Emeigh came close to posting a double-double as the Bermudian Springs' girls' volleyball team defeated York Catholic, 26-24, 25-14, 25-22, Monday.
Click here for more photos from this story.Emeigh saved 12 digs and hit nine kills for the Eagles, while dishing out 19 assists. Madyson Whitcomb smashed 13 kills as the Eagles pulled even with the Irish in a tight Division III race.
Brooke Ricks led the Irish defense with 14 digs. Rachel Shelley hit five kills.

Tori Sager and Madisyn McMaster each had eight kills while Hannah McMaster had five kills and 14 assists. Northeastern was led by Whitney Brown's seven kills and Alivia Crerand's 15 assists.
