Thursday's District 3 girls' lacrosse roundup: Valway, Speights each record hat tricks in one-goal victory vs. Cumberland Valley


Here is Thursday's York/Adams District 3 girls' lacrosse tournament result.

SUSQUEHANNOCK 11, CUMBERLAND VALLEY 10 >> Ashley Valway was the catalyst on offense for the Warriors as she scored a hat trick and dished out four assists in the Warriors' District 3 tournament quarterfinal win at Central York.

Gena Speights also had a hat trick for Susquehannock, and goalie Amber Orner made nine saves. Cumberland Valley had four different girls score two goals.

The Warriors will face Hempfield in the semifinals at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Hershey High School.
