Monday's girls' lacrosse roundup: Morgan Day surges closer to state record as Kennard-Dale wins big again

KENNARD-DALE 19, CUMBERLAND VALLEY 9>>The visiting Rams topped the Eagles behind stalwart Morgan Day's seven goals and goalie Clare Boone's 12 saves. Kennard-Dale had four different players register multi-goal games while Emmie Dressel dished out six assists. Ania Gradzka led Cumberland Valley with four goals.

Day now has 422 career goals, 79 on the season and is eight goals away from tying the PIAA career record of 430, which is held by 2014 West Chester Henderson graduate Katie O'Donnell. Day is also sixth all-time nationally, having passed 2013 East Chapel Hill High School (N.C.) graduate Sydney Holman (416).
