Thursday's boys' lacrosse roundup: Red Lion victory vs. Susquehannock sets up division title scenarios

Here are Thursday's York/Adams boys' lacrosse results.

RED LION 17, SUSQUEHANNOCK 8 >> Seniors Christian Castle and Tanner Reif led the way for the Lions on senior night, dashing Susquehannock's hope at clinching a division title with a dominant win.

Castle worked a four-assist game, while Reif had a pair of goals and three assists. Sam Emig added six goals for the aggressive Lions, who took 34 shots in the contest.

Jack Allred scored three times for the Warriors, who were seeking to clinch at least a share of the division title.

Red Lion (11-2, 8-2 YAIAA) is still in the running to claim a share of the title. Susquehannock (9-2, 9-1) will host Dallastown (11-2, 8-2) at 6 p.m. Tuesday. A Wildcat win over Susquehannock coupled with a Red Lion win and a West York (10-2, 9-1) loss would force a four-way tie for the title. The Bulldogs travel to York Suburban on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. game. Red Lion will travel to South Western on Tuesday for a 4:15 p.m. game.

WEST YORK 19, SPRING GROVE 11 >> The Bulldogs defeated the Rockets behind four-goal games from Hunter Betz, Devyn Roehm and Seth Wise. Betz and Roehm also posted two assists each.

Dylan Griffiths, Bryce Kephart and Tanner Bolton each had a hat trick for Spring Grove.

EASTERN YORK 17, KENNARD-DALE 1 >> Conrad Rhein and Dom Particelli each scored a hat trick and dished out five assists to lead the Golden Knights to the home win.

Dean Huntzinger was the only goal scorer for the Rams.

Joseph Sadock and Collin Mailman each scored a hat trick for Suburban, and Mike Sipes had two goals.

Dallastown's Cade Gold had a hat trick.
