Wednesday's girls track and field roundup: McLain, Myers power Eastern York to set up Division II showdown

Here is Wednesday's York/Adams girls' track result:

EASTERN YORK 91, YORK SUBURBAN 59 >> Maddie McLain and Hannah Myers each won a pair of events, keeping Eastern York's bid at a Division II title alive with a convincing win against York Suburban.

The Golden Knights entered the meet trailing Gettysburg by one point. The two teams will meet Tuesday at Gettysburg in the deciding battle for division title.

McLain took first in the 1,600 and 3,200, while Myers won the 200 and 400. Jordan Shoff won the javelin and discus for the Trojans.
