Rams rough up West Perry with 6-run fifth


Kennard-Dale, seeded No. 14 in the District 3 Class AAA softball tournament, scored six runs in the top of the fifth inning, breaking open a 4-4 tie in their 10-7 first round road victory over West Perry.

The Rams scored the six runs in the inning with two singles, a walk, three errors and a fielder’s choice as the Mustangs imploded defensively.

Madelyn Miller led the way, going 4-for-4 with three runs scored for Kennard-Dale. The Rams will take the field again Thursday against Garden Spot at York College. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30.
