YORK COUNTY TECH 23, WYOMISSING 5 (3) >> The Spartans drew 19 walks as they cruised.

Lindsay McWilliams earned the win as she struck out five batters in two innings of work. She also hit a double.

NORTHERN YORK 5, WEST YORK 4 >> Lexie Waddell collected two hits, one of which was a triple, in four plate appearances to lead the Polar Bears. She also drove in two runs and scored one.

Northern's Megan Hamme earned the win.

The Bulldogs' Jossalin Shipley doubled and scored twice.

MILLERSBURG 7, HANOVER 4 >> Sara Durika went the distance in the Nighthawks' loss.

She tallied two strikeouts and didn't issue a walk while allowing seven runs on 11 hits.

RED LION INVITATIONAL>> The Lions and Kennard-Dale met in a high-scoring consolation game, with Kennard-Dale earning a 17-15 win by scoring six runs in the top of the seventh.

Red Lion was defeated by Governor Mifflin in the first game, 12-2, while Kennard-Dale also fell in their first game against Twin Valley, 10-7.

Kayla Beach, Kelsey Farrington and Nicole McCleary all went 3-for-5 against Red Lion. Farrington had a double.

Hailey Inguanti shined for the Lions, going 5-for-8 with two home runs, a double and four runs scored.

CUMBERLAND VALLEY CLASSIC >> In the opening round of the tournament, Dover struggled offensively against Greencastle-Antrim as they fell, 9-1.

In the consolation game, Dover fell to Waynesboro, 10-5, no other information was available for the consolation game.
