Dallastown girls upset Governor Mifflin

The Dallastown girls' basketball team pulled off an upset to advance to the District 3 Class 6A quarterfinals on Monday night. The 11th-seeded Wildcats beat sixth-seeded Governor Mifflin, 58-43.

The Wildcats pushed to a 34-18 lead at halftime and 42-32 after three quarters.

The game was a rematch of Dallastown's season opener. The Mustangs won that game, 52-42, in the opener of Hempfield's tip-off tournament.

Dallastown (13-11) will travel to No. 3 Central Dauphin (19-3) for a quarterfinal matchup at 7 p.m. Thursday.
