Lower Dauphin was able to hold off a late rally by Red Lion in Monday's Class AAA consolation game at Warwick, which the Falcons won, 41-40.

Lower Dauphin’s offense was paced by Amber Schweiger and Paulina Maliner with 11 points apiece.

Red Lion was led by Natalie Reba with 13 points and Courtney Dimoff with nine. The duo combined for 11 of the Lion’s 18 points in the fourth quarter.

Red Lion will face Central York for the fourth time this season in the seventh-place game with a trip to the PIAA tournament on the line on Friday. Site and time for the game are to be determined.

Central Dauphin 57, Central York 42: The Rams had a trio of double-figure scorers led by Tori Lesko with 17 in the Class AAA consolation win at East Pennsboro.

Tarae Daniels chipped in with 13 for Central Dauphin and Alexis Smith added 12.

The Panthers were led by Nikson Valencik with 11 points.

Central will advance to face Red Lion in the seventh place game on Friday, with a trip to the state tournament hanging in the balance.
