Balanced effort lifts Susquehannock


Here are Saturday's York/Adams girls' basketball results. Check back often for results.

Susquehannock 47, West York 38: A balanced effort lifted the Warriors to a victory over the Bulldogs.

The visitors had six players score at least six points, five of them scoring eight or more points in the victory. Taylor Tannura led the way with nine points while Tyler Williams, Ashley Stone and Madison Stone each chipped in with eight points.

The Bulldogs received a game-high 10 points from Liv Sollberger.

Central York 46, Cedar Cliff 42: Sarah Sepic scored 13 points while Nikson Valencik added 11, leading the Panthers to a key road victory over the Colts.

With both teams battling for position in the District 3 Class AAAA power rankings, the Panthers used a 25-19 spurt over the second and third quarters to pull away.

Brianna Gausgruber led the Colts with 13 points.

Shippensburg 56, Gettysburg 41: The Greyhounds trailed 25-23 entering the half at the Dunks for Drew Showcase at Chambersburg, but outscored the Warriors, 33-16 after the break to record the victory. Liz Logan led the way with 19 points while Mariah Martin finished with 17 points.

The Warriors received 12 points from Devetche Johnson in the loss.

Ayanna Flowers matched Bauhof with 23 points for the hosts, but the Irish supporting cast was the major difference as Jania Wright added 17 for the visitors.
