Roundup: William Penn girls knock off Central


Jasmine Beistline poured in 18 points to lead three William Penn players with double figures as the Bearcats knocked off Central York, 54-53, in Tuesday's YAIAA Division I girls' basketball action.

Chyna Steele added 13 points for the Bearcats, while Madey-Zania Redman added 12.

The Panthers’ Emma Saxton led all scorers with 20 points and Sarah Sepic added 11.

Suburban went on a 12-5 run after the break to pull away from a five-point halftime lead.

Parker Faircloth-Henise led the way with 10 points for the Trojans. Liv Sollberger matched her with 10 points for the Bulldogs.
