Girls' hoops roundup: Steele powers Bearcats

William Penn senior Chyna Steele scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Bearcats to a 55-53 non-conference victory against Cedar Cliff on the road. The Bearcats outscored the Colts, 16-12, in the fourth quarter to earn the win.

Jasmine Beistline added 10 points for the Bearcats.

Cedar Cliff had three players reach double figures in scoring, including the duo of Lexa Dugan and Olivia Dalby who each netted 14 points.Cedar Cliff led at the half on the strength of a 20-14 second-quarter run. But William Penn outscored the Colts 31-25 in the second half.
