Northeastern had no trouble with New Oxford on Friday, rolling to a 49-0 road win.

Running back Anu Johnson ran well for the Bobcats, according to head coach Jon Scepanski. The team also had defensive and special teams touchdowns on the evening — Chris Whack had an interception return, while Michael Cooper returned a punt for a TD.

The Bobcats are now 8-2 on the year and finished 5-2 in YAIAA Division I. New Oxford finished the year 0-10.

Northeastern will take the field in next weekend's District 3 Class 5A tournament.
