Dallastown's strong rushing attack propelled the Wildcats to their fourth YAIAA Division I victory, a 55-6 rout on Friday against New Oxford.
No Wildcat back carried the ball more than six times throughout the 48 minutes of football, but Dallastown (7-1, 4-1) racked up 252 rushing yards.
Rodney Scott led the team with three rushing touchdowns, while Zion DeVance added two scores: a 44-yard run up the gut on their second drive and a 33-yard dash late in the third quarter. His teammates Nyzair Smith and Dillon Callahan also broke off touchdown runs.
Dallastown's non-rushing touchdown came on an 18-yard punt return by Donovan Catchings. After a botched snap led to the New Oxford punter scrambling to get the punt off, Catchings snagged the sideways punt out of the air and returned it to the house.
The Wildcats' defense pitched a shutout until two minutes remained in the third quarter. New Oxford (0-8, 0-5) quarterback Connor Becker connected with Eric Alt on fourth down for the lone Colonials touchdown.
