Delone Catholic notched its first YAIAA Division III win Friday night thanks to a shutdown defense and plenty of points from Harts.
Running backs Zach Hart and Ryan Hart combined for the first four touchdowns against Biglerville as the Squires blanked the Canners at home, 41-0.
Delone improved to 4-2 on the year and 1-2 in YAIAA action, while Biglerville remains winless at 0-6 and 0-3.
The Harts combined for 175 rushing yards. Zach Hart's first three carries went for a total of 35 yards and the game's first touchdown. The senior led off the second-quarter scoring with a 2-yard touchdown run, with the other bookend coming when Ryan Hart caught a 15-yard TD pass from Brian Shermeyer to make it 21-0 at the half.
With Delone in clock-killing mode, Shermeyer attempted just two passes in the second half. But he got more yardage on those passes (17) than Biglerville accumulated the entire night through the air (4). Ryan Hart caught the first of those passes, a 15-yard strike that extended the lead to 28-0 in the third.
Biglerville's Reggie Adams led all rushers with 26 carries and 146 yards but both of the Canners' excursions inside the Delone 35-yard line ended in no points. Adams rolled off gains of 14 and 21 yards to help Biglerville advance as deep as the Delone 31 in the second, but a pass on fourth-and-9 fell incomplete.
Delone preserved the shutout with a goal-line stand as time ran out in the fourth. Biglerville drove from its own 37 into the red zone, but two Ivan Manzo carries left them a yard short of a touchdown.
The Squires' two fourth-quarter TDs were set up by turnovers. Evan Brady returned an interception to the Biglerville 2 to set up Shermeyer's second TD pass, and Jon Pierce's fumble recovery led to an Alec Maitland score.
Delone travels to Bermudian Springs next Friday, while Biglerville tries to shed the goose-egg at home versus York Catholic.
