Big Spring edges Northern York
Despite a big game from Kyle Swartz, Northern was edged by Big Spring on Friday night.
Swartz scored twice, but the Bulldogs scored a 65-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter that proved to be the winning score in a 28-21 victory.
In both teams' first Mid-Penn Colonial division game of the year, the Polar Bears and Bulldogs played to a 14-14 tie in the second quarter. Big Spring scored with 16 seconds left in the half to take momentum into the second half.
Northern is now 2-2 on the season after the loss. The Polar Bears visit Waynesboro, which lost to Shippensburg on Friday, next week.
