Gridiron guest picker of the week: Erik Harris

In the days before he suits up for his first NFL regular season game, Erik Harris has a chance to add to his long list of football accomplishments.

Harris made the New Orleans Saints' opening-day roster last weekend, and now the 2008 New Oxford graduate will compete against the GameTimePA staff this week in picking the winners of every game involving teams from York and Adams counties.

Last week, York Mayor Kim Bracey competed as our first guest picker. She went 14-6 and placed ahead of two GameTimePA staffers.

In a week that the GameTimePA staff agreed on most of the games, Harris went against the grain on a few picks. He picked York Suburban to topple Northeastern, picked Susquehannock to defend its home turf against York Catholic, and picked Dover to go on the road and beat Steelton-Highspire.

And, yes, he did pick his New Oxford Colonials to beat neighboring Gettysburg.
