For the second year in a row, NFL offensive line coach Pat Flaherty will return to his alma mater of Delone Catholic High School for the Mason Dixon Linemen Clinic.
Flaherty, a 1974 Delone graduate, is entering his first season as San Francisco 49ers offensive line coach.
On June 18, Flaherty will present personal instruction and drills for linemen entering grades 7 to 12. This will be the second year for the Mason Dixon Linemen Clinic. In 2015, the clinic was well received by the 75 participants from schools in the southcentral Pennsylvania and northern Maryland areas.
The clinic runs 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and costs $50 per player. Registration forms are due June 3 and are available by clicking here or visiting www.DeloneCatholic.org. There will be an on-the-field ratio of 8-10 players per coach.
The football stadium will be open at no cost for spectators and coaches to observe on-field drills and participating players. Coaches are welcome on the field as their players are given instructions by Flaherty. Concession stands will be open to the public.
Flaherty spent 12 years (2004-15) as New York Giants offensive line coach before moving to San Francisco for 2016. A veteran of more than 35 years of coaching, Flaherty’s tenure with the Giants includes their Super Bowl wins in 2007 and 2011.
