Lower Dauphin's Klock tosses four TDs against Red Land
Lower Dauphin scored three second-quarter touchdowns and cruised to a 35-0 victory against Red Land at West Shore Stadium.
Tommy Klock completed 9-of-14 passes for 203 yards, leading the Falcons (5-1, 2-1 Mid Penn Keystone Division) to a victory over the Patriots (2-4, 0-3).
Evan Morrill opened the scoring, intercepting a Jake Radic pass and returning it 28 yards for the touchdown with 3:25 left in the opening quarter. That lead ballooned to 28-0 at the half as Klock threw three second-quarter touchdown passes. He connected for 28 yards to Skyler Swartz. A 40-yard pitch with Angel Cruz pushed the lead to 21-0. He finished the half with a 16-yard pass to Morrill.
Morrill and Klock closed the scoring with a 25-yard pitch and catch with 9:22 remaining in the fourth quarter to trigger a running clock.
Morrill led all players with five catches for 117 yards and two touchdowns, and Falcons running back George Hatalowich ran for 159 yards on 20 carries.
Brendan Shaffer picked up 70 yards on just four carries. The Falcons dominated the Patriots in total yardage, 443-151.
Justin Johnson led Red Land with 72 yards rushing on 17 carries.
