Saturday's field hockey roundup: Gettysburg wins its tournament

GETTYSBURG TOURNAMENT

HOSTS WIN TOURNAMENT >> In the championship game, Gettysburg cruised to an easy win as it downed Hanover, 13-0, to win the tournament the Warriors host. In the title game, Elena Montenegro added two more goals to her tally for the day, finishing with four scores Saturday.

Katelyn Gormley had a strong performance in the title game as she added four goals and an assist. She also had a goal in the first game.

Gettysburg opened the tournament with a 5-2 win against Camp Hill.

Montenegro and Kailey Mixell lifted the Warriors offense as Montenegro scored the first two goals of the game with Mixell earning the assists.
